Bernardo Beccar Varela

BERNARDO BECCAR VARELA was born in 1974 in Buenos Aires. He’s a lawyer, specialized in family and inheritance. Although he would rather keep a low profile, he’s known around the media after representing some high-profile people in the Argentinian show business. Book and writing lover, he published Retiro-Tigre, el Tren de la conjura in 2010, and his novel El ahogado was a finalist in the 2016 Clarín Awards and received an honorary mention, providing the opportunity to publish it in 2018. Besides his law career and the time he devotes to writing, he’s the owner of the children’s and young adult literature bookshop Dulcinea, in San Isidro.
